Skill Share

An integral part of our mission at The Sewist Society is to honor the trade of sewing. We believe that sharing skills helps us see the human value in textile production. Skill share also provides artisans and teachers the ability to pass on generational knowledge, and to help develop a community of skilled artisans.

As we work to build our community center we have a donated space that we currently offer group courses on nights and weekends. Our courses will be offered at $15/ hr for group classes and will be centered around sewing and sustainability.
